- Content, Thought Leadership & Editorial
- • Write, shape and edit high-quality communications content including press releases, opinion pieces, features, blogs, case studies, abstracts and campaign messaging.
- • Translate technical or specialist subject matter into clear, compelling narratives for media, client, industry and commercial audiences.
- • Review and sign off content to ensure accuracy, tone, quality and consistency.
- • Coordinate feedback between clients, internal teams, freelancers and external contributors.
- • Align content with PR, events, SEO, newsletters, owned channels and wider marketing objectives.
- Events, Speaker Coordination & Networking

- • Write and adapt abstracts, award entries, speaker proposals, biographies and supporting materials.
- • Liaise with organisers and stakeholders to manage deadlines, requirements and logistics.
- • Advise clients on event participation, speaker positioning and opportunities to maximise profile and commercial value.
- • Represent Wake Media at client meetings, industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities, with willingness to travel in the UK and internationally when required
- Reporting, Analytics & Tools
- • Monitor media coverage, campaign performance and share of voice, translating data into clear insight, recommendations and client-ready reporting.
- • Maintain accurate reporting datasets and ensure quality control across reporting outputs.
- • Use and assist in defining the most suitable media monitoring and reporting platforms such as Meltwater or equivalent tools – keeping process and cost efficiencies in mind.
- • Work confidently with Excel, Google Sheets or equivalent spreadsheet tools for data management and reporting.
